Pavilion of Ali Qapu
Overlooking the royal polo ground and superimposed onto an earlier structure, the impressive gatehouse of the All Qapu palace is known as the Pavilion of Ali Qapu, or the Sublime Gate. Its high balcony, fronting a complex eight-storey building with a large central reception hail, served both as a symbolic entrance to the palace and as a place from where members of the court could watch the passing world below. The building features fine lacquered stucco ceiling and exquisite shell-vaulted rooms. The finest of all is the sixth floor music room
